Not sure the true ramifications of years of slavery, then legal racism, have yet to be fully realized in this country. I think it’s visible. It’s out there if you open your eyes. But have we gotten quantitative data linking one to the next?
Not nearly enough, I’d say.
I moved to DC two months ago and am keenly aware that the elusive “delivery service” actually exists.
‘Till this move, it’d been nothing more than a line in a song. A figment of the imagination.
I don’t dare use it. But I surely watch my neighbors line up…
